Work Flexibility: Hybrid What you will do The Inventory Analyst (16-month contract) plays a key role in driving strategic, data-driven inventory decisions that support Stryker Canada’s operational goals. This role is responsible for forecasting long-term inventory targets, managing adjustments, and reducing excess or obsolete stock. By analyzing inventory health and performance metrics, you’ll identify risks, uncover opportunities, and optimize working capital. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, solid financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate across functions. You’ll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help enhance efficiency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Build and maintain advanced inventory forecasting models to project long-term targets and identify potential imbalances. Perform detailed analysis of inventory health, including turns, aging, and E&O risk, using statistical and financial metrics. Model and recommend inventory adjustments to optimize working capital and reduce excess and obsolescence exposure. Leverage data visualization and analytics tools to develop reporting dashboards and actionable insights for leadership. Collaborate with IBP, demand planning, and supply chain teams to align forecasts and scenario planning with business needs. Monitor and analyze KPIs to track inventory performance, identifying trends and root causes of variance. Develop and refine data-driven processes to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory visibility. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, predictive analytics, and advanced reporting capabilities. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
