We are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative individual to join our Retail Team as a Sr. Sales Associate.
THE DETAILS:
You’ll be joining our Calgary team at 8180 11 St SE #100, Calgary, AB T2H 3B5, in a full-time capacity
You’ll act as an ambassador of our brand, taking care to ensure every customer feels like a guest in our home. It’s your job to give a positive first impression, find the items they need, and suggest additional items to help build their dream space
Once their items have been selected, you’ll help customers check out, process their payment, and assist customers with returns/exchanges as necessary
You’ll be a point of contact for customers, helping them with inquiries and relaying comments to the management team
You’ll work with the team to keep the storefront clean, organized, and visually appealing. You’ll also handle return/go-back items
As a key holder, you’ll be in charge of opening the store at the start of the day and closing up at the end
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
Minimum two (2) years of experience in a retail sales environment; a combination of education and experience may be considered
High school diploma. Post-secondary experience in sales and retail customer service would be considered an asset
Proficiency in retail operations and systems (Point of Sale, Microsoft Office), as well as a basic understanding of inventory management and product flow
A high standard of quality when it comes to customer service, performance, accuracy, and sales goals
The ability to self-motivate, organize, and be persuasive in their communication style
The ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods of time
