Job Description What is the opportunity? In this role, you will process and reconcile income dividend and interest payments. This entails the accurate and timely processing of all clients’ Entitlements, the control and collections of income proceeds from Depositories and Issuers, and reconciliation of suspense account activities, and deliver service commitments to the clients’ satisfaction by ensuring that all work functions are completed accurately and on a timely basis You will manage Operational risk, financial control, development of the team’s operational capabilities and to optimize operational efficiency. What will you do? Ensures that all Income events are researched and processed on an accurately and timely basis. Ensures all payments received from depositories, wire or cheque has been processed by end of day. Closely reviews and investigates Income suspense accounts to ensure that each outstanding item is identified and cleared promptly. Ensure prompt escalation of any issues that may cause financial or reputational issues to RBC Investor Services or its clients. Liaison with external parties when required to facilitate timely and accurate payments Completion of the Income processing and client queries/enquiries within the prescribed time frames Maintenance of satisfactory internal and external Audit/Regulatory/Risk ratings and reviews. Adherence to all procedures and control functions, including reconciliations, as appropriate, to minimize financial loss to RBC Investor Services and its clients. What do you need to succeed? Must haves: Post secondary education, and knowledge of market entitlement practice, specific to entitlements Income. Flexibility towards working hours in order to meet business needs.
