EXIGENCES POUR RÉUSSIR
Expérience de supervision dans le commerce de détail (2 ans préférée)
Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalent
Capacité démontrée à diriger une équipe
Solides compétences en service à la clientèle et en communication verbale
Disponibilité pour travailler selon un horaire flexible afin de répondre aux besoins d’un commerce de détail dynamique, incluant les fins de semaine et les jours fériés
Capacité à : soulever fréquemment des charges de 4 lb ; soulever occasionnellement un maximum de 8 lb ; s’agenouiller ou s’accroupir fréquemment ; déplacer des boîtes de produits jusqu’à 50 lb (avec assistance si nécessaire) ; rester debout pendant de longues périodes ; monter occasionnellement des échelles ; monter et descendre fréquemment des escaliers (selon l’emplacement)
JOB MISSION
As part of the New Balance retail leadership team, the part-time Retail Team Lead assists with duties such as opening/closing the store, driving results and delivering a world class experience for our guests. You will lead by example through New Balance’s Core Competencies.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor while communicating and coaching professionally with all associates
Be results-driven in achieving our store key performance indicators through training and development of our associates
Deliver a great guest experience utilizing our GUEST service model
Opening/closing the store
Follow safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
Demonstrated leadership ability
Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidays
Ability to: lift 4 lbs. frequently; lift maximum 8 lbs. occasionally; kneel or squat frequently; move boxes of product up to 50 lbs (with assistance if necessary); stand for extended periods of time; climb ladders occasionally; climb and descend stairs frequently (depending on location)
Flexible Work Schedule

Our hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while providing high levels of flexibility to associates. North American office-based associates are expected to come into the office on Wednesdays, with other occasional in-office days for in-person meetings and events as needed. Our offices are fully open and amenities are available across our North American office locations.
