Job Description
Under the supervision of the Corporate Director in mobile asset management, the coordinator – Mobile Assets, assists the various members of management in decisions concerning the entire life cycle of mobile assets. In the short term, the coordinator will need to develop performance indicators, dashboards and replacement plans for the entire company.
Developing asset specifications for procurement and support decision making across the entire mobile asset lifecycle, including maintenance and sales.
Developing replacement and maintenance plans in collaboration with the maintenance department and the company's various business units.
Monitoring the execution of plans developed in the field with operational unit managers.
Updating the asset management system (Maximo) and all related tasks.
Monitoring and update the fuel consumption management system and produce reports.
Establishing the capitalization value of equipment (CAPEX) for AIM according to the global renewal criteria.
Ensuring that all mobile assets communicating with the various systems are working and follow up on faulty systems to ensure they are repaired.
Promoting the resale of used assets through various platforms.
Informing and make recommendations to the management team on compliance with the legal aspects of fleet management.
Participating in the analysis of mobile equipment
Coordinating the work and ensure follow-up with external contractors.
Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar function
Knowledge of CMMS systems (Maximo, an asset)
Good knowledge of mobile assets (forklifts, cranes, excavators, loaders, bobcats, trucks, trailers, transportation equipment etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (French is an asset)
Strong analytical skills
Experience creating reports and dashboards
Ability to influence and make recommendations
Excellent command of Excel and computer systems in general
