What you’ll be doing
This position is responsible for the handling of the documentation preparation, monitoring and coordinating of customs release of shipments for the import of goods in accordance with customs regulations.

You will be responsible for
Provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers
Handling of queries, resolving issues with Customs clearance such as reject notices, eManifest errors, paper packages, RMD Corrections
Prepare customs and internal documents and complete high volume of complex entries and invoicing
Conduct tariff research and classification and escalate any issues or delays to Team Leader.
Maintain working knowledge of both current and pending customs and other agency regulations and policies
Document errors for customs account analysts via Error Reporting Process (CND Only).
Complete complex customs entries and provide guidance to Jr and Int staff
Accurately complete final invoicing of customs entries to CBSA within the allotted timeframe (CND Only).
Coordinate cross-border release including export pedimento (customs declaration) and drayage coordination (US SB Only).
Above average written and verbal communication skills.
Showcase your skills with Microsoft utilizing programs such as Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
Identify potential challenges/risks and solve problems efficiently or work with Leaders for a solution.
Foster a fast paced culture leading by example in terms of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
Effectively prioritize and manage the team multiple and personal tasks to meet KPI's and deadlines.
To provide the highest level of customer service by leading and mentoring, fostering a positive and productive work environment and resolving escalated issues as needed.
What we need from you
High school diploma or equivalent.
CCS Designation
Minimum 3 years of custom brokerage or logistics experience.
Intermediate MS Office knowledge
Advanced knowledge of the LVS program.
Knowledge of all FTA’s shipments and PGA’s
High level of organization, time management and attention to detail.
Completion of complex entries
Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times
