You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, managing, maintaining, and optimizing our global network infrastructure. This senior-level position requires a deep technical expertise in both on-premise data centers and cloud environments (Azure), with a strong focus on security, reliability, and scalability. The ideal candidate will function as a subject matter expert, leading projects, providing mentorship, and ensuring our network architecture supports the evolving needs of the business. Responsibilities Include: Strategy & Architecture Architect, design, and implement scalable, secure, and highly available network solutions for multi-site data centers, cloud (Azure), and hybrid environments. Develop and maintain high-level network architecture designs, including software-defined networking (SDN) and multi-cloud connectivity. Lead the development and execution of disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity strategies for network infrastructure. Implementation & Operations Install, configure, and maintain critical network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless controllers, VPN concentrators). Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Plan and execute comprehensive network and system upgrades, including patches, hotfixes, and security hardening. Manage IP addressing schemas, internet circuits, and cloud express routes/connections. Security & Optimization Safeguard network integrity by implementing and managing security policies across firewalls (Palo Alto), IDS/IPS, and VPNs. Proactively monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark; analyze metrics to optimize performance and plan for capacity. Enforce network security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Leadership & Support Act as the highest level of escalation for complex network issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent solutions. Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional IT teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Our Ideal Candidate Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. Hands-on experience with Cisco and Palo Alto networking equipment for routing, switching, and security. Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting hybrid cloud networks, with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure networking (VNet, ExpressRoute, NSGs, Load Balancers). Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, Splunk). Strong understanding of network security principles (firewalls, Zero Trust, least privilege). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills. Experience with automation and scripting for network management (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
