Position: Associate Veterinarian

We provide high-quality walk-in urgent care, diagnostics, and referral appointments for our specialty departments. Our facility is equipped with advanced in-house diagnostic equipment including CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy tools to thoroughly assess and diagnose the health of patients with precision and expertise.
Our team of dedicated veterinary professionals includes experienced veterinarians with extensive surgical experience who can perform a range of surgeries including emergency, orthopedic, soft tissue, exploratory, and wound repair. During emergencies, your furry friend is not just cared for – they are treated with thorough expertise and genuine affection

What You’ll Do
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll play a vital role in our hospital’s success by:
Conducting thorough consultations and diagnostics
Assisting in developing and implementing treatment and surgical protocols
Performing routine and advanced surgeries
Managing patient records and ensuring accurate client billing
Providing post-operative care and follow-up
Collaborating with the Medical Director and support staff on case reviews
Supervising and mentoring veterinary technicians and assistants
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited institution
Licensed or eligible for licensing in Vernon, BC
Strong clinical skills in medicine and surgery
Excellent communication and client service abilities
A commitment to professional ethics and continuous improvement
