Job Description
PURPOSE
The Peak Payment CER ensures a smooth, efficient, and friendly experience for customers during peak
season payment transactions. In addition to providing excellent service, this role is responsible for
actively suggesting additional items at the cash desk to enhance the customer experience and drive
incremental sales. The position is focused, repetitive, and high impact, making it ideal for candidates
who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy helping others.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide fast, frictionless, and friendly service at payment
• Greet customers as they approach cash.
• Confirm loyalty status. Suggest loyalty to non-members as required.
• Offer PWP to customers meeting the threshold. Offer GCs to customers for last-minute
gifting.
• Determine if customer needs gift receipts or boxes.
• Thank the customer and invite them back.
• Restock cashes and maintain cleanliness of payment desk.
Qualifications
Experience in specialty retail or a retail environment preferred but not required
Adaptability, flexibility and a willingness to learn new things and be exposed to all aspects of the store
Demonstrated commitment to creating an exceptional employee and customer experience
Ability to be stand at payment for extended periods of time
Ability to lift medium to large items, up to 40 pounds, while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays (if required for the role)
