The Facilities Services Worker / Janitor maintains Factors Group’s buildings and facilities by providing housekeeping and janitorial services.
1-Year Contract (40 hours)
Sunday to Thursday 10:00 pm – 6:30 am
In this role, you will:
Thoroughly clean all building floors of manufacturing, warehouse, lunchroom, office, washrooms, wash bays and general areas
Sweep, mop, and auto-scrub all types of floors
Clean, sanitize and maintain washrooms
Sweep and clean all exterior grounds
Empty all interior and exterior garbage, recycling, and cardboard bins throughout shift
Tidy, organize and restock janitor rooms and cage supply storage areas
Help set-up for company events and facilities requests
Regular cleaning of any other areas if required and if applicable (i.e: stairs, wash bays, lobbies, outside grounds, rooftop)
Vacuum carpeted areas
You have:
Completion of Grade 12
Experience in janitorial or custodial work (1+ years)
Building Services Worker Certificate (an asset)
Familiarity with a GMP manufacturing environment (an asset)
Ability to communicate in the English (both verbal & written)
Ability to perform all job duties including standing for prolonged periods of time, bending, twisting, reaching above shoulder level, crouching, squatting, kneeling
