Key purpose of the role: The Head of Strategic Change & Communications is key to supporting ASX’s enterprise-wide transformation program, Accelerate. This role is responsible for shaping and delivering the program’s overarching change and communication strategy to ensure alignment, clarity and engagement across all stakeholder groups. Your responsibilities: Develop and lead the execution of an integrated change and communications strategy to support ASX’s transformation program, aligned to the program roadmap and strategic objectives. Define and oversee the execution of the activation plan and activities for awareness/communication, training and readiness assessments that supports the Program objectives. Oversee and coordinate across key activities such as program communications, change interventions, change readiness, change load assessment and capability uplift. Support the development of content to support understanding of the program and the case for change. Help shape, articulate and amplify the key organisational messages at an enterprise level (based on corporate business plan/strategic plan, business and cultural transformation objectives) in a way that is clear, meaningful and consistent. Through narrative and message reinforcement highlight how every change/program/project is laddering up to the delivery of ultimate business/strategic/culture objectives. Through examples, stories, metrics and regular reporting, look to highlight positive momentum towards delivery and highlight positive behaviours. Build strong relationships across the organisation and impacted stakeholders to support the continue engagement and readiness for the changes. Understand and identify change barriers; design recommendations to mitigate change risk and business impact Translate and communicate complex program objectives into a clear and engaging narrative to drive awareness and understanding across multiple channels and audiences. Partner with the project team and key stakeholders to define goals, target audiences and develop activation plans, collaborating across the relevant teams to deliver consistent and coordinated activation campaigns across ASX. Oversee and coordinate the development of a range of high-quality communication materials including talking points, briefings, presentations, campaigns, FAQs and SharePoint content to support storytelling across ASX about the program. Establish communications and change governance to ensure alignment across program work streams. Support best practice change and communications processes and tools to measure and track the effectiveness of channels and impact on stakeholders. Define communication and change success metrics and regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the strategy and messaging. Your experience and qualifications Must have: Proven track record of 15+ years in leading transformational change in complex change environment, with experience in communications and change management. Demonstrated experience in leading a cross-competency team (change and comms) Proven experience of operating with various OCM methodologies and ability to tailor to meet the needs of a Program. Experience working in a complex, issues-rich environment. Experience liaising with senior executive within a corporate setting Excellent communications and presentation skills both written and verbal Demonstrated ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders across enterprise Ability to work in a hands-on fashion in dynamic communications team Nice to have: Prosci or CMI accreditation Experience working on regulatory projects Demonstrated level of project management skills Experience in an ASX listed environment Financial services experience and understanding of regulatory landscape including some knowledge of ASIC and RBA We make hiring decisions based on your skills, capabilities and experience, and how you’ll help us to live our values.
