Job Description What is the opportunity? We are seeking a talented and experienced Risk Strategist to join our dynamic team in Transformation and Enterprise Operations (TEO). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing risk management strategies, with a focus on leveraging technology to mitigate and prevent risks. What will you do? Conduct comprehensive analysis of risk assessments, data, operational events, audit conclusions, and enterprise standards and identify potential areas of vulnerability or opportunity for improvement. Analyze complex data and provide critical insights to support decision-making. Develop and present tactical and strategic recommendations for risk mitigation, outlining innovative solutions and technology-driven approaches. Collaborate with operations teams and cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of risk prevention measures. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance risk management practice and transform towards proactive identification and predictability of events. Create and maintain documentation for risk management processes, governance, routines, and strategies. Create a roadmap for solutions and delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk management goals What do you need to succeed? Must Have: 7+ years’ experience in a strategic risk management role, preferably in the financial industry Proven knowledge in Risk and Operations Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation and business insights Strong understanding of technology and its application in risk mitigation Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and an ability to work effectively with all levels of employees, management and executives where applicable Nice to have: A degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, or Technology is preferred. Keen, analytical and problem-solving aptitude. An innovative thinker who is proactive, very well organized, and detail-oriented Strong business acumen with proven ability to simplify ambiguous concepts Effective at working with senior management and operations teams to understand needs and requirements What’s in it for you?
