Job Title: Material Handler – Picking/Packing
Location: Distribution Centre (6170 Edwards Blvd, Mississauga ON)
We’re ramping up for our busiest season and looking for reliable, motivated individuals to join our order fulfillment (Picking & Packing) team! We have two shifts available:
• Morning Shift: 7:00am to 2:45pm
• Afternoon Shift: 3:15pm to 11:00pm
The Roots Distribution Centre is located in Mississauga! Contracts run from from November 17/18, 2025 to December 5, 2025. Enjoy great benefits throughout your contract!
• An hourly wage starting at $18.05 per hour for the AM and PM shift
• A $0.50 hourly premium for the PM shift
• Weekly pay (Friday)
• Vacation pay (4% of salary annually) which is paid back to the employee
• 50% employee discount on-line and in stores!
Qualifications:
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team and follow direction from line management
• Previous experience in order picking and packing is an asset
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
• Must be able to work fulltime up to 40 hours a week (Monday - Friday)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive bending
