This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Scientist I, GTM in the United States or Canada.
As a Senior Data Scientist focusing on Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives, you will drive data-informed strategies that optimize customer acquisition and revenue growth. You will work closely with Marketing, Sales Development, and Revenue Operations teams to analyze campaign performance, build predictive models, and identify opportunities to enhance lead quality and conversion. Your insights will directly influence top-of-funnel efficiency and pipeline health, helping the company scale its customer acquisition efforts. This role requires both strong technical expertise and the ability to communicate complex analyses clearly to stakeholders, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Accountabilities:
Design, build, and maintain predictive lead scoring models to prioritize high-intent prospects.
Analyze marketing campaigns and GTM performance to optimize spend, efficiency, and ROI across channels.
Conduct deep-dive analyses of sales and marketing funnels to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Partner with Rev Ops to enhance data infrastructure and establish robust measurement frameworks for GTM activities.
Communicate insights and actionable recommendations to marketing and sales leadership to inform strategy and tactics.
Translate ambiguous business questions into structured, statistically rigorous analyses, including causal inference and predictive modeling.
4+ years of experience in data science or analytics, preferably focused on marketing, sales, or GTM analytics.
Strong understanding of B2B marketing and sales funnels.
Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and modeling.
Solid statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
High autonomy, ownership, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional, ambiguous environments.
Excellent communication skills to present complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus: Experience with Looker, Hex, dbt, or predictive modeling for lead scoring, marketing mix modeling, or sales funnel optimization.
