What You’ll Do
Lead by example to uphold the highest safety standards, ensuring all team members follow relevant policies and regulations.
Manage daily sawmill operations, focusing on improving productivity, reducing costs, and optimizing lumber quality and recovery.
Engage, support, and develop employees through continuous improvement initiatives, performance reviews, and effective communication.
Assist in maintenance planning, manage budgets and forecasts, and ensure quality and operational goals are consistently met.
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in a sawmill facility
5+ years experience in managing a team
Ability to relocate to Bathurst, New Brunswick
Commitment to learning French, if not already fluent
