Synopsis of the role As the Sr. Pricing Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the Finance team, responsible for driving the strategic evolution of our pricing models and frameworks. You will leverage your deep business acumen to align pricing strategies with overarching corporate objectives, influencing both short-term performance and long-term market positioning. This role demands a highly analytical and strategic thinker who can navigate complex data, prioritize effectively, and foster strong cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders to deliver insightful financial guidance and enable data-driven decision-making. What you'll do Lead the development and implementation of product pricing strategies at a customer, product, and overall market level (vertical-based) Analyze data & leverage market (vertical-based) trends to inform & continuously improve pricing decisions by product type Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive pricing to identify strategic opportunities and risks, informing proactive pricing adjustments Drive complex financial modeling and scenario planning to assess the impact of various pricing strategies on revenue, profitability, and market share Collaborate closely with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and other relevant departments to integrate pricing strategies into product development, launch, and go-to-market initiatives Provide expert pricing advisory and strategic guidance for critical business initiatives, including new product introductions, significant customer contracts, and large-scale projects Champion best practices in pricing governance, processes, systems, and controls, ensuring robust frameworks for pricing execution and compliance Present complex pricing analysis and strategic recommendations to Senior/Executive Leadership in a clear, concise, and compelling manner, facilitating informed decision-making Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of analytical rigor and strategic thinking within the pricing function What experience you need 4+ years of progressive experience in pricing, strategic finance, or related analytical role(s), with a proven track record of developing and executing impactful strategies that are Customer, Product and/or, Sales-Centric Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related quantitative field is the minimum requirement, whereas a Master's degree is preferred Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate complex financial analysis into actionable business insights Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in advanced statistical analysis and financial modeling Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and customer value propositions Proven experience in making sound, data-driven decisions that deliver tangible business results What could set you apart Extensive experience in the financial services or information services industry Strong leadership capabilities with experience in influencing and collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of an organization Advanced proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and complex data manipulation tools Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Primary Location: CAN-Toronto-5700 Yonge Function: Function - Marketing Schedule: Full time At Equifax, we believe knowledge drives progress.
