Job Description What is the opportunity? You will be responsible for supporting actuarial and risk management functions for individual living benefits products. What will you do? Month-end Valuation and Reporting Perform monthly valuation of living benefits liabilities under IFRS17 framework Prepare and validate fulfillment cashflow calculation, roll-forwards and reconciliations. Analyze results and provide clear explanation for key movement and trends Assist in preparing management reports and supporting audit and review process. Experience Studies and Assumption Management Conduct experience studies related to lapse, morbidity etc Analyze emerging experience to inform assumption setting and management decision Collaborate with modeling and pricing teams to ensure consistency of assumptions across functions. Cross-functional Collaboration Work with finance, risk and audit teams to ensure data accuracy and model transparency Provide actuarial insights for strategic initiatives and regulatory reporting What do you need to succeed? Must-have: Bachelor’s degree (or above) majoring in Actuarial Science. Other relevant Majors (e.g. Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics) are acceptable if accompanied with demonstrated knowledge of Actuarial concepts 3 or more actuarial exams is required Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be an innovative thinker and understand the "big picture" High energy, results-oriented self-starter with the ability to achieve under tight deadlines in a rewarding and fast-paced environment Strong working experience with GGY AXIS and MS Excel Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both technical and non-technical audiences Nice-to-have: Working experience with Power BI, R or Tableau Experience working with teams across different platforms Prior knowledge with living benefits products is an asset What's in it for you?
