Business Development Representative (BDR)
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Representative to join Minerva team, an early-stage startup in the fintech space. You will play a crucial role in expanding the client base by leveraging effective outbound prospecting techniques, collaborating on targeted outreach campaigns, and converting leads into high-quality meetings and demos for the Sales team. You will not only enhance the sales pipeline but also bring valuable industry insights and a results-driven mindset, driving the company towards continued growth and success. The role will report into the Sales Lead. This is a full-time remote role, with occasional (quarterly) in-person opportunities to meet and get to know the rest of the team.
Role Overview:
Conduct outbound prospecting and qualify leads, ensuring a robust sales pipeline.
Collaborate with marketing to implement targeted outreach campaigns and maximize conversion from named account list.
Engage with potential clients through various channels, including email, phone calls, and social media.
Effectively manage inbound lead flow and follow up.
Clearly articulate our value proposition and tailor messaging to resonate with target audiences.
Schedule high-quality meetings and demos for the Sales team, exceeding set targets.
Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities within HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, and more.

Requirements:
Passion, enthusiasm, and curiosity are essential.
2 years of proven experience as a Business Development Representative, preferably in the fintech OR AML industry.
Demonstrated understanding of the sales development role and a track record of exceeding targets.
Familiarity with CRM software; experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or Apollo is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic startup environment.
Results-driven mindset and a commitment to achieving and surpassing goals.
