This Modernization and Program Support position will involve collaborating within the Branch to update administrative data, tools, systems, and processes for operational training. They will also assist in managing the setup and implementation of the Enterprise Commons Success Factors Learning Management System (LMS) for Waste Services. This includes configuring training settings, process modification, implementing new features, and resolving issues to ensure a smooth transition to the new LMS.
Additionally, they'll be responsible for facilitating data management, knowledge sharing, documentation, and training processes for Waste Services' operational training. This includes coordinating learning data, procedures, and training materials, as well as creating and distributing resources for users.
What will you do?
Assist in improving the current state of training data evaluation and record cleanup
Ensure that Waste Services' training data, tools, processes, and systems are compatible with the Success Factors LMS
Support the Waste Services Systems Training Specialist in resolving transitional issues
Participate in configuring systems as part of the Employee Services Enterprise Commons Success Factors project team
Administer the deployment of the Success Factors LMS for Waste Services, including necessary training data, tools, processes, and systems
Develop and maintain manuals for Enterprise Commons roll out
Assist the Waste Services Systems Training Specialist in developing policies, procedures, processes, and design of end user resources for Branch staff to support system and software adoption
Collaborate with the project team and operational leaders to develop evaluation tools for measuring adoption rates and effectiveness of Waste Services' operational training, systems, and software training
Perform other related duties as required
Completion of an appropriate certification program from an approved business school/college
Minimum of four (4) years progressively responsible experience in the learning management system area
OR
Minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible experience supporting digital automation and business process support
Related experience in the knowledge of current state organizational practices for operational training in Waste Services and Open Text (COE) Learning Management System administration
Assets:
Waste Representative on the Enterprise Commons Success Factors project team
Conducting internal training and/or local troubleshooting on internal business data programs and systems (LMS, SAP, SAPAriba)

Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, develop documentation, and facilitate implementation training. Proven track record of aligning priorities and connecting strategy to achieve specific outcomes in application configuration and implementation
Knowledge, skill, ability and experience engaging, negotiating and building buy-in with partners
Proven skill and ability developing and configuring applications, demonstrating an understanding of how the application will impact business processes and workflows
Notable knowledge, skill, ability and experience as an application “super-user”; training staff and leading knowledge management processes and procedures
Strong verbal and written communication, including document / report writing, procedure writing, presentation development and delivery
Knowledge of emerging technologies and the ability to present ideas, recommendations, and proof of concepts to senior level partners (within and outside the organization)
