Job Description Toronto FC is searching for an energetic and passionate individual to support our Academy Operations Department. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative, logistic, and operational support and assistance to the Manager, Club & Academy Operations. This role will specifically be focused on the overall operations of the TFC Academy and Toronto FC’s training home, BMO Training Ground. In addition, you may be asked to provide support with many of the day-to-day requirements of the Club, its staff and all its contributing parts. Responsibilities Provides confidential administrative and office management support to the Manager, Club & Academy Operations. Coordinate elements of Toronto FC Academy Team Operations. This includes but is not limited to: Preparation and execution of Academy team travel as part of the MLS NEXT Regular Season as well as larger competitions including MLS NEXT Fest, MLS NEXT Flex, Generation adidas Cup, MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs. Team roster administration management, online administrative platforms, and team communication. Team league administration management – rosters, games, fees, registration. Organizing the reporting of all Academy team and staff expenses. Organizing of Match Officials for Exhibition Games and competitions hosted at the venue. Coordinate elements of Toronto FC Academy Supplemental Programming. This includes but is not limited to: Coordination of Academy competitions hosted at the venue, College Showcases, 9v9 OPDL Pre-Season Festival, etc. Coordination of the HPA and Academy Mentorship Program and executing events in support of Academy athletes. Assist in the preparation and execution of annual Academy Health & Wellness Month – developing topics of interest, securing guest speakers and coordinating schedules. Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of Toronto FC Academy athletes. This includes but is not limited to: Organize the registration and deregistration of athletes on all required platforms – league, federation, club, etc. Liaise with Ontario Soccer regarding annual athlete movement. Coordinate Toronto FC Academy Affiliate Programming and ensuring contractual obligations are met. This includes but is not limited to: Coordinate technical staff visits to Affiliate Clubs – travel accommodations, transportation, itinerary, staff obligations upon arrival. Coordinate hosting Affiliate Clubs at BMO Training Ground for coach development opportunities with TFC Academy technical leadership. Coordinate player identification opportunities at BMO Training Ground offered exclusively to Affiliate Clubs – March break training week, summer trial window, etc. Coordinate competitions hosted at the venue in support of Affiliate Clubs – Affiliate Super Cup & Festival, BMO Challenge Cup. Respond to public and internal inquiries in an efficient and timely manner. Assist with day-to-day administration including database management, correspondences, and inquiries. Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times, maintain confidentiality, take pride in the organization, its people, and the role. Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as requested. Requirements Sport Management or related business degree preferred. Extensive computer knowledge, including MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Demonstrated ability to build and develop professional relationships. A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality. Proven ability to listen, understand and communicate effectively. Proven to perform well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Accepting direction while also displaying a high level of initiative. Ability to grasp new concepts quickly. Comfortable and capable in meeting deadlines. On call availability and flexibility and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
