DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain computer testing room(s) Prepare room in advance of scheduled exams Monitor computers; assure operational status; troubleshoot common problems Restore testing area to its previous arrangement prior to exiting following exams Manage test scheduling and related procedures Apply technical knowledge and skills for problem solving, trouble shooting and continuous improvement of process and procedures related to delivery of the online nursing program Develop exam schedule Proctor computer-based exams Validate appropriate identification as necessary for admission to exam Help students log in to necessary exam Troubleshoot testing issues as necessary Monitor exam process and progress Enforce all rules and regulations as necessary Follow established protocol for integrity breaches Provide technical assistance Maintain and update knowledge of current operating technology Provide administrative support Perform various tasks, assignments, and projects as directed by site and nursing administration Perform additional duties as requested by nursing faculty Maintain and manage individual and group scheduling and calendars Manage phone calls, both incoming and outgoing Perform inventory control and purchase supplies and equipment for site EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Competencies Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills; positive attitude required Holds high degree of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows applications, internet and email Must be able to collaborate well with others Self-directed personality with the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities on a daily basis Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and effectively; ability to learn quickly Ability to follow established procedures and protocols Ability to maintain a controlled environment when computer and exam issues occur Must have strong customer service skills Must be prompt and have a sense of time limits Experience Experience with MS Office software and Windows environments Experience in a higher education environment is strongly preferred, but not required Experience with Learning Management (LMS) and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) is strongly preferred, but not required Education/Certifications High school diploma or equivalent required College degree preferred At Orbis Education, we create partnerships with universities to expand their pre-licensure healthcare programs and produce thousands of highly trained graduates ready to enter the workforce.
