WE ARE LOOKING FOR A MOTIVATED RECRUITER EXPERIENCED IN BLUE-COLLAR AND SKILLED
TRADES HIRING, IDEALLY WITHIN THE MINING, INDUSTRIAL, OR HEAVY EQUIPMENT
SECTORS. THIS ROLE SUPPORTS HIGH-VOLUME RECRUITMENT NEEDS AND PARTNERS CLOSELY
WITH HIRING MANAGERS TO ENSURE OPERATIONAL STAFFING SUCCESS — ALL IN A FULLY
REMOTE CAPACITY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for blue-collar, trades, and
mining-related roles (e.g., equipment operators, maintenance technicians,
millwrights, plant operators, electricians, process plant workers,
warehouse/logistics, etc.).
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to gather technical
requirements, timelines, and candidate expectations
- Source candidates through job boards, community networks, social media,
referrals, and industry associations.
- Screen applicants to evaluate skills, certifications, safety culture, and job
fit.
- Schedule interviews, gather feedback, and support the offer process.
- Support pre-employment processes — reference checks, documentation, and
onboarding coordination.
- Build talent pipelines for recurring or hard-to-fill mining and trades
positions.
- Maintain accurate, organized hiring data in the ATS and the recruitment
tracker.
Qualifications
- 3 –5 years of experience in recruitment, ideally in blue-collar / mining /
heavy equipment environments.
- Fully bilingual in French & English — verbal and written.
- Experience sourcing talent within the Québec labor market.
- Ability to handle high-volume recruitment and prioritize multiple roles.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ATS systems and recruitment tools (asset).
