Hi, I'm Adam and I am a Senior Programmer at Gamemode One. I have been with the company for 7 years and I work with our Minecraft development team to build gameplay and tooling systems. I'm looking for a co-op student to join our team and assist us in creating our next experience using the Minecraft Bedrock engine. This involves the implementation of gameplay features and cross-collaboration with our artists and designers.

Your Day-to-Day
As a Minecraft Game Development Intern at Gamemode One, you'll be an integral part of crafting our next Minecraft Marketplace experience. Your days will include:
Feature Development: Writing clean, scalable code using Typescript and JSON to bring new gameplay systems to life
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with our artists and designers to implement functionality for their creative assets
Version Control and Workflow: Participating in our versioning and pull request workflow to keep development smooth
Optimization and Debugging: Troubleshooting issues and optimizing systems for performance and player experience
Agile Development: Participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives with our dynamic development team
Contributing Ideas: Providing feedback and insights to help shape the next great product in our portfolio
You won't just be writing code—you'll be actively pushing forward engineering practices at Gamemode One and making a tangible impact on projects played by thousands.
What You'll Bring
Knowledge of Typescript, Javascript, or similar programming languages
Understanding of version control systems (Git)
