Position Overview
WMG organization is launching a strategic, greenfield implementation of a Global Digital Order Management System (OMS). We are seeking a Lead Product Manager to serve as the single point of accountability for the strategic product vision and business value of the entire solution. You will be the primary business and strategic leader responsible for owning the long-term roadmap and translating high-level business goals into a scalable, efficient, and value-driven solution. You will drive platform investment decisions and ensure the final solution delivers a unified platform for operational excellence. This role requires an expert-level understanding of a market-leading OMS (IBM Sterling OMS and/or Manhattan Assoc - MAO) and the complex business processes required to connect it to our enterprise ecosystem.

Responsibilities:
Own the long-term roadmap and strategic product vision for the OMS/Fulfillment domain.
Be fully accountable for the creation, maintenance, and governance of the Prioritized Feature Backlog and Product Scope/Charter.
Drive platform investment decisions and ensure the solution delivers a unified, scalable platform for operational excellence.
Partner closely with the Solution Architect and integration leads to oversee and govern design decisions related to system scalability, security, performance, and long-term maintainability.
Translate high-level business goals into actionable requirements and user stories for the development team.
Define the core process scope, ensuring the system supports requirements for critical business processes from order capture through fulfillment and settlement.
Validate and approve core requirements captured in the Functional Design Documentation (FDD), ensuring alignment with business value.
Act as the final sign-off authority for the technical solution’s alignment with strategic business goals, including formal acceptance of the End-to-End (E2E) Solution.
Proactively identify and mitigate business and operational risks, ensuring the solution design accounts for critical business non-functional requirements and service levels.
About You:
Deep expertise in enterprise OMS functionality, configuration, and the entire order lifecycle management.
Strong background in omnichannel fulfillment strategies and best practices.
Expert-level knowledge of IBM Sterling Order Management System or Manhattan Assoc (MAO)
Deep conceptual knowledge of enterprise architecture and cloud solutions to properly govern the Solution Architect’s proposals.
Strong financial management acumen to build business cases and manage platform investment.
Expertise in OMS implementation methodologies and managing scope in large-scale programs.
Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts and trade-offs to executive-level business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years experience with IBM Sterling and/or Manhattan Active Omni platforms.
Experience migrating from legacy OMS platforms.
Direct, hands-on experience defining business requirements for integrations with. systems like Shopify, warehouse management systems (WMS), and SAP ERP.
Experience in the E-commerce DTC/ B2B / Music and Entertainment industry.
