Software/AI Engineering Coop (2026) We are seeking an enthusiastic software individual to join our team in building intelligent, knowledge-driven chatbots that empower our associates to access information seamlessly. You’ll explore and implement cutting-edge AI capabilities, particularly within the Microsoft and Atlassian ecosystems, to help our organization transform how knowledge is discovered and shared. You will contribute to the design, development, and experimentation of AI assistants that connect to various enterprise knowledge sources and interface through large language models. Responsibilities The responsibilities may include: Research and Prototyping Investigate state-of-the-art AI tools and frameworks within the Microsoft and Atlassian ecosystem (e.g., Azure AI Search, Copilot Studio, Azure AI foundry, Atlassian Rovo) Evaluate third-party or open-source alternatives outside Microsoft for integration or benchmarking Connect to multiple internal and external knowledge repositories (SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, document libraries, etc.) Perform document preprocessing, cleansing, and normalization for downstream embedding and indexing Education Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, or a related field Desired Knowledge/Skills and Experience Familiarity with Python Experience (academic or personal projects) with LLMs Soft Skills Curiosity to explore new AI trends and rapidly prototype solutions Strong analytical and research mindset Clear communication and documentation skills Collaborative approach to problem solving in multidisciplinary teams This role will help you gain hands-on experience applying AI and LLM technologies in a real enterprise setting, with exposure to chatbot development and knowledge engineering.
