How You’ll Make an Impact Investigate, negotiate, and settle accident benefits claims in a fair and timely manner. Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable legislation. Communicate proactively with members to provide updates, guidance, and resolution support. Maintain accurate claim records, reserves, and settlements within appropriate policy coverage. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve fair outcomes and cost-effective resolutions. Contribute to a positive member experience through professionalism, empathy, and responsiveness. As part of our front-line team, you’ll play an important role in supporting change and helping to deliver enhanced care to our members What You Bring to the Table Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in a related field an asset). CIP or CAIB designation (or working toward one). Experience in accident benefits, automobile, or multi-line claims adjusting. General knowledge of insurance principles, legal concepts, and the SPF #1 Automobile Policy. Working knowledge of medical terminology related to common MVA injuries (e.g., WAD).
