General Information
The Cowichan Valley Regional District is now accepting applications for the casual Food & Beverage II opportunity at the Kerry Park Recreation Centre in the South Cowichan Recreation Division within the Community Services Department. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Coordinator, the Food & Beverage II provides pleasant, professional customer service to patrons and performs cooking and/or bartending, cashiering, dishwashing and bussing for the Social Lounge, concessions and event catering operations of the Food & Beverage Section.
Qualifications
Secondary school graduation or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Mixology/bartending experience as well as short-order and banquet cooking experience.
Line Cooking experience would be an asset.
Food Safe Level I Certificate
Serving It Right Certificate
First Aid Level I with CPR
Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License -- employer provided vehicle

Hours of Work
This non-union casual opportunity has a wage range in three steps, $21.03 - $22.24 per hour (2025 rates), as per the Non-Union Wage Scale, plus 17.2% pay in lieu of vacation, benefits and statutory holidays.
