The opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SVP, Business Development Officer in California to drive the development of Commercial Finance opportunities across the Western USA.
As a member of our high-performing Sales team, the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, utilizing their proven network to craft financing solutions that meet the unique needs of our commercial and corporate businesses. They will leverage their expertise in Commercial Finance to create innovative financing options that enable our clients to achieve their goals.

You will be responsible for:
• Developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans to drive success in targeted markets.
• Utilizing existing business partnerships and networks to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Leveraging your extensive knowledge of financial services effectively qualify and nurture opportunities
• Spearhead all negotiation strategies with prospective partners and provide deal recommendations to key stakeholders of the Executive Leadership Team
• Meeting individual, team, and organizational revenue goals.
• Preparing and presenting new business screening documents and financing proposals.
• Monitoring key performance indicators for growth, revenue and efficiency targets.
• Continuously improving product knowledge, sales skills, and sales/relationship management techniques.
Qualifications:
• Previous demonstrated and recent experience selling financial services
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the financial services sector, with a proven track record of success. Industry experience within our core markets is preferred.
• A university degree, preferably in finance or business administration, or equivalent experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
• Skilled at building relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Focused on meeting the needs of clients, with the ability to adapt to market demands.
