The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for partnering with the Human Resources Management team to ensure effective business support to the field throughout Marmon/Keystone Canada. The Human Resources Generalist will handle various components of the Human Resources function, including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding/orientation, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and benefits administration. What You'll Do: Plans and executes effective recruitment efforts, both internally and externally, to attract top talent for positions, including but not limited to uploading/managing job posts, sourcing strategies, screening applicants, candidate selection for interviewing, background checks, and offer procedures. Facilitate and manage the onboarding/orientation for new hires. Partner in promoting a positive, respectful company culture that inspires employee engagement and excellence. Oversee and track employee recognition and HR initiative programs, such as Awardco, LinkedIn Learning Challenges, Front Line Leader training, etc. Conducts stay & exit interviews and makes recommendations based on data analysis. Assist in ensuring employee personnel records are up-to-date and in compliance with applicable policies, including internal, provincial, and federal regulations. Utilizes people analytics to understand business health and provide recommendations to Human Resources Management. Analyze and formulate reports leveraging data metrics to present recommendations to the Human Resources Management team. Partners with Payroll & Benefits Administrator on benefits administration and payroll backup. Assists with the performance and documentation of investigations into employee-related concerns and grievances. Ensures policies and procedures are followed and up to date in accordance with applicable internal, provincial, and federal regulations. Partner in identifying training & development opportunities, organizing professional development initiatives, and facilitating session(s) as appropriate. Assists in processing hire and separation documents. Other HR duties as assigned. What You'll Need: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent discipline. 2+ years of Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment. HR certification, such as CHRP or SHRM, is preferred. Exceptional interpersonal and people skills. Superb verbal and written communication. Proficiency in HR software, including Workday and ADP. Strong understanding of HR practices. Well-versed knowledge in provincial and federal employment law. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred. Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Primarily sedentary work in an office environment and may require walking or standing for a brief period. Ability to travel based on business needs.
