Hi there! Thanks for stopping by 👋
We are looking for an Industry Relations Manager - Quebec to join Lightspeed for
a one-year contract (with the potential to renew), reporting to the Head of
Brand & Communications. As the face and voice of Lightspeed in Quebec’s
restaurant and hospitality community, you’ll build meaningful relationships with
restaurateurs, customers and non-customers alike and ensure their voices are
heard within Lightspeed. You’ll act as a bridge between local businesses, our
product teams, and the provincial government to help shape better outcomes for
Quebec’s hospitality ecosystem. This role is part relationship-builder, part
advocate, part industry leader and all about Quebec hospitality.
What you'll be doing:
-
Build strong, trusted relationships with restaurateurs, chefs, and
hospitality professionals across Quebec whether they use Lightspeed or not,
by:
- Gathering feedback, identifying pain points, and bringing actionable
insights back to our teams based on what Quebec restaurants need most out
of our province’s hospitality industry
- Helping restaurants get the most out of Lightspeed’s tools and ensure
their needs are reflected in our roadmap.
- Enabling Lightspeed to directly support and advocate for the Quebec
hospitality industry and ensuring Lightspeed has access to the “Voice of
the Industry”
- Ensuring that Lightspeed has a broad view of the needs of the restaurant
industry in Quebec, from dishwasher to restaurant owner.
-
Be an active, visible presence in the Montreal and broader Quebec hospitality
scene by:
- Identifying key hospitality industry events, roundtables and panels and
represent Lightspeed, when appropriate.
- Building partnerships with key associations, thought leaders, and
institutions that support restaurateurs.
-
Work regularly with Revenu Québec, the provincial government, and local
regulators to advocate for fair, efficient, and supportive policies for
hospitality businesses.
-
Collaborate with and serve as a customer feedback loop to Lightspeed’s
Product, Marketing and Sales teams to ensure Quebec’s unique context is
considered in the product we build and the decisions we make.
-
Contribute to Lightspeed’s thought leadership in hospitality innovation,
technology, and public policy.
-
Work with the Marketing and PR department to publish insights, host
conversations, and spotlight the incredible work of Quebec’s hospitality
community.
-
Help position Lightspeed as a trusted ally and leader in the local ecosystem.
What you need to bring:
We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
- Deep knowledge of Quebec’s restaurant and hospitality industry
- A network in the Quebec hospitality community
- Confident public speaking skills (bonus if you have experience speaking to
the media).
- Fully bilingual in French and English, and can confidently speak about the
ins and outs of hospitality in both.
- Strong understanding of the local business landscape, including relationships
with government and industry associations
What’s in it for you?

- Ability to do your job in a truly flexible hybrid environment (3 days/week in

hungry:
- Unlimited paid time off policy
- Flexible working policy
- Health insurance
