Reporting to the Manager, Business Intelligence, the Business Intelligence Analyst is a subject matter expert providing financial and operational visibility across the organization. The individual collaborates with key stakeholders in Finance, Sales, and Services to identify business questions, develop financial insights, and present actionable analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making. The BI Analyst leverages both leading and lagging indicators to evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for improvement in people, process, and tools. What you’ll do Design and develop financial and operational dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI) to track performance, forecast trends, and monitor KPIs across Sales and Finance functions Support financial planning and forecasting processes, including variance analysis, revenue and expense tracking Provide analytical support for budgeting, scenario modeling, and strategic planning activities Automate existing financial reports and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting business performance Advise leadership on financial insights, business drivers, and implications of data findings Recommend and implement new data or analytical solutions to support evolving business needs Ensure data integrity and alignment between financial systems and BI tools Partner with the finance and sales teams to benchmark performance and identify actionable recommendations What you need to succeed Must-have Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or business intelligence Strong proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel (advanced modeling and forecasting) Proven ability to translate financial data into clear insights and business recommendations Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments Demonstrated capability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to business needs, and meet deadlines Ability to synthesize complex data into meaningful business narratives Nice-to-have Experience with SQL, relational databases, or financial modeling tools Background in Professional or Managed Services industries Knowledge of data governance and financial system integration At CDW, we strive to offer market-competitive total rewards packages to attract and retain talent. As such, we are committed to pay transparency and ensuring fair compensation for all our coworkers. Each of our roles is assigned a salary range that is informed by multiple sources of market data. We determine individual pay within a given range based on a candidate's prior experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. This approach allows us to offer competitive and equitable salaries that reflect the value and responsibilities of each role at CDW. Salaries are based on a 40-hour workweek, and paid on a bi-weekly payroll schedule.
