About this opportunity:
The Engineering Project Management (Technology Accelerators) intern will be responsible for performing, maintaining and continuous improvement for the Technology Accelerators program. As a supporter of this program, the role will be involved in the research, evaluation, vetting, and onboarding of various technologies to our IP portfolio. The role will consist of various tasks related to project management, customer and external provider interaction, reporting and metric evaluation, generation of both internal and external training collateral, and broad exposure and evaluation of technologies associated with all of our business segments (Aerospace & Defense, Health Tech, Smart Energy, Industrial, Data Center Infrastructure, Capital Equipment.) Preferred Skills:

Flexibility and agility with different topics particularly with various technologies

Activities:
Familiarize themselves with all of the existing IP and the Technology Accelerator program including existing tools, resources, objectives and new goals for 2026.
Familiarize themselves with the contractual and process elements related to both technology and product licensing.
Work with the Technology Accelerator leader in close alignment to maintain strategy and daily, weekly, monthly priorities.
Provide in depth research on specific technologies and potential technology partners, including their specific offering and value props as aligned with different Celestica business segments.
Coordinate meetings and team alignment in order to perform internal reviews with stakeholders and create relationships with potential providers.
Create relationships with internal technical teams who will support internal development and IP generation.
Work with Sales teams and tools in order to manage and monitor metrics related to Tech Accelerator financial and booking performance.
Present and communicate status to functional management and may have customer/ provider interaction.
Implement change as directed in the Tech lifecycle process.
Support the creation of business cases in order to demonstrate value of onboarding licensed technology or the development of organic IP by Celestica.
Create and maintain Technology Accelerator systems and tools
Maintain Technology Accelerator processes and templates
Assist with and monitor project qualification efforts by ensuring completion of business cases, cost-benefit analyses, resource plans and project schedules
Assist with facilitating stage gate reviews and management process for reviewing/approving project readiness for advancement to next phase
Support management of project portfolio via internal toolsets and reports and provide metrics, reports and dashboards related to projects and programs
Collect reporting documentation for regular Tech Accelerator governance meetings
Assist with assessing general health of programs/projects
Support Project Managers in collection and reporting of project status/risk
Manage and document regular project reporting meetings
Effectively manage segments of a larger project with limited supervision
Manage all aspects of small projects through the project lifecycle, including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change
Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:
Duties of this position are performed in a normal office with exposure to manufacturing environments.
Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.).
