TITLE: Assistant Coordinator – Seven Summits Club LOCATION: Snowbird – Snowbird Center STATUS: Seasonal, Part-time, Hourly SCHEDULE: Variable – 2-day working week Seven Summits is an exclusive Ski Club Located under the Ski Bridge of the Snowbird Center. Must be able to work any day of the week, weekends, and holidays. Typical shift: 7 am to 4.00 pm. SUMMARY As an Assistant Coordinator for Seven Summits Club and Base Camp members, you will handle all guest inquiries. You will oversee the operations of the Club on the Manager’s days off. You will greet members and their guests; assist with the First Tracks program; maintain the Club facilities; act as a concierge to the members and guests; and provide exceptional service to our Club members and their guests. WHAT YOU’LL DO Report to work on time and in appropriate business attire. Obey all company and department policies and procedures. Greet members and guests as they enter the Seven Summits Club, a private club for members. Collabortate with our Guides and Mountain staff daily for the First Tracks Program. Maintain the member lounge by attending to par levels of all hospitality items. Maintain the cleanliness of the Club in all areas. Answer the telephone, relay calls, and respond to email requests courteously and efficiently. Communicate with Manager about any schedule, Club, or client issues through a daily log. Provide information regarding the Club, Resort, and surrounding areas. Assist members in making reservations for Resort services. Additional projects and duties as assigned that assist in meeting the overall department goals. WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird. Must be reliable and able to work with minimal supervision. Exceptional skills in guest relations, problem solving, verbal and written communication, and conflict resolution. Requires ability to operate a computer, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs. Requires ability to exercise judgment within policy guidelines and without supervisory approval. High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of job specific work experience with demonstrated competence. In-Depth Hospitality experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. WORK SCHEDULE Must be able to work any day of the week, weekends, and holidays. Typical shift: 7 am to 4.00 pm. Season is typically Mid-November through April. WORKING CONDITIONS May experience unusual stress from continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to and from Snowbird. Be able to travel up the canyon at early hours when there is expected avalanche control work or before canyon road closures.
