As Associate Vice President, Partnerships you’ll define and lead and drive our global partnership strategy, aligned directly with company-wide goals and revenue objectives. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you’ll be the point of contact for key partners, and responsible for building a high-impact partner ecosystem that spans technology, agency, and consulting partners. You’ll also drive the growth of our app store and partner portal to ensure partners are equipped, engaged, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
This role is ideal for a relationship-first, revenue-focused leader who excels at building scalable programs, driving partner-sourced pipeline, and leading cross-functional alignment.
What You'll be Responsible for:
Define and lead Maropost’s global partnership strategy, directly aligned with company growth targets and multi-product expansion efforts.
Serve as the executive point of contact for key global partners, acting as a trusted advisor and growth enabler.
Build and execute a comprehensive partner plan to elevate the quality, depth, and strategic value of our partnerships—ultimately generating a robust and scalable opportunity pipeline.
Manage and deepen relationships with existing and prospective partners, ensuring both long-term strategic alignment and short-term opportunity development.
Ensure partner initiatives and deliverables are aligned with internal priorities and customer needs, working closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success.
Develop an international partner channel ecosystem, nurturing alliances with boutique and Tier 1 consulting firms to unlock new revenue streams and leverage their client networks for business development.
Drive sustainable, trust-based relationships across all partner types, ensuring technical and sales enablement resources are effectively integrated into joint campaigns and go-to-market efforts.
Own and scale the Maropost App Store and Partner Portal, ensuring both platforms are optimized to support partner enablement, app distribution, and engagement.
Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Partner Success to ensure seamless execution of partnership strategies on a global scale.
Track and report on partner performance, contribution to pipeline, and ROI, using CRM and partner tools to inform data-driven decision making.
Build and mentor a high-performing partnerships team, fostering a proactive, results-driven culture.
What You'll need to bring to Maropost
5+ years of experience in alliances and channel partnerships, with at least 5 years managing global teams in high-growth B2B SaaS environments.
A strong record of building strategic partnerships and alliances in B2B SaaS markets, with deep expertise in ecommerce and retail verticals.
Proven leadership experience in multi-product business environments, ideally at companies generating $80M+ in annual revenue.
Prior experience in a partner leadership role at a SaaS company is essential.
Demonstrated ability to structure and scale international partnerships, including in North America, Europe, and ANZ.
Deep experience in partner program design, partner lifecycle management, and co-selling/co-marketing strategies.
Strong track record of establishing strategic business relationships with C-level executives, both internally and across top clients and partners.
Hands-on experience building and optimizing app marketplaces and partner portals to support growth and enablement at scale.
Strong commercial acumen, with proven success negotiating partnership agreements
Experience with CRM and partner platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Apollo, Gong, Clay)
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA a plus).
