We are looking for awesome, self-driven nurses (RPN or RN) to work in and around Newmarket, ON. We have several lovely paediatric clients with complex care needs requiring support in this area, including Aurora and East Gwillimbury.
We are seeking nurses with complex care paediatric experience, particularly in the community setting. Preferred experience includes:
Ventilators (invasive and non-invasive such as BiPAP and CPAP)
Tracheostomies
Enteral feeding (G-tubes, GJ tubes, NG tubes)
Suctioning
Cough assist
Seizure monitoring
Oxygenation and respiratory management
We are happy to provide training for the right candidate
Shift
6–8 hour shifts available
Clients require daytime and evening support.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide personal care to clients as outlined in their care plans.
Adhere to providing personal care and assisting with ADLs within the scope of practice for a nurse.
Assist clients with all activities of daily living, including hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, and linen changes.
Support clients with transfers, ambulation, and exercises.
Meet the safety needs of clients and use equipment safely and properly.
Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, practicing safely and competently within the job description.
Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
An asset if you own vehicle and have a valid driver's licence (not required)
Negative TB Test completed within the last year
CNO Registration and nursing Certificate
COVID Vaccination Receipts subject to an exemption pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
Valid Criminal Record Check - must be completed within the last year.
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English
Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Coordinators when needed.
Competitive rates of pay ranging from $32.25-$49.25/hour
