We are looking for a Medical Solutions Lead - PsO to join our Immunology Medical Affairs team based out of Canada
About the role
The Medical Solutions Lead plays a critical role in the implementation of the medical strategy for Immunology.
Who you’ll work with
You will collaborate closely with the Immunology Medical team and cross-functional partners - including Marketing, Market Access, Sales, and Regulatory- to create and deliver impactful solutions. This individual will be required to have a field presence and maintain customer relationships with identified key stakeholders. This role requires a strong field presence to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders while ensuring the highest level of disease and product knowledge.
What you’ll do
Develop strategic and tactical plans, designing and implementing programs, spearhead evidence generation, and initiating projects that meaningfully advance patient outcomes while aligning with UCB’s objectives.
Establish and cultivate purposeful relationships with key scientific stakeholders to access new opportunities for patient benefit.
Lead and inspire the team to success, including coaching and mentoring a direct report
Ensuring UCB’s operational compliance meets the highest professional standards, including conducting expert reviews of Canadian materials.
Serve as the scientific subject matter expert for the Medical and cross-functional teams
Drive strong external and internal stakeholder relationships through collaboration and communication.

Minimum Qualifications:
Advanced scientific degree required: MD, PhD, PharmD
10+ years’ experience in a medical function in the pharmaceutical industry
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated track record of success in Medical Affairs and/or clinical development function in the Canadian ecosystem preferred
Demonstrated experience with direct people leadership required; experience leading other people leaders highly desired
Demonstrated track record of delivering quality, relevant medical learning programs.
Established relationships with external scientific and clinical experts in dermatology in Canada highly desired
Well-developed interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
This is a field role with a national scope; the candidate can be based anywhere in Canada, experience in the field of immunology preferred. Travel estimated 20-30% of time, nationally and internationally
Preferred: bilingual in English and French
This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $125,200 - $164,325. The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
