Goodness Me! Is currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused Store Manager for our Waterloo store location.
Your day-to-day
As our Waterloo Store Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a well-managed and visually appealing store, with a focus on sales, labour, and waste targets.
Other tasks and duties include:
Facilitate training for all team members and ensure company standards and procedures are upheld
Lead recruitment for all departments
Facilitate training and uphold company standards and procedures
Thoroughly maintain team member records
Coach and mentor employees to develop leaders
Drive team member engagement
Ensure unparalleled customer satisfaction, product quality assurance, store maintenance, and health and safety compliance
Maintain broad product knowledge and ability to increase basket size
Adhere to predetermined labour models and ensure scheduling is completed in a timely manner
Collaborate to ensure the store achieves its financial targets
Primary key holder and may be called to the store before, during or after business hours in the event of an emergency
Flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
What you bring:
Previous retail management experience (3-5 years).
Experience working in a grocery retailer.
Experience in maintaining operational excellence in retail stores (payroll, shrink and inventory management, etc).
A solid understanding of sales forecasts for establishing key targets for the departments.
Proven leadership qualities and experience developing and leading team members.
