SUMMARY As the Administrative Assistant for Operations in Snowbird’s Public Safety Department, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily functioning of the Public Safety team. Working under the direction of the Public Safety Manager, you’ll ensure smooth operations by managing key administrative tasks, upholding departmental policies, and providing exceptional assistance to both guests and employees. WHAT YOU’LL DO Work at the Public Safety customer service desk and answer phones, assist guests and employees with their questions and needs. Input files and distribute Public Safety reports. Manage lost and found items. Manage employee parking passes. Manage day pay lockers. Manage outgoing mail and other jobs as needed. Assist with purchasing and PO numbers in Coupa. Carry out additional duties as assigned. WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE Exceptional customer service and communication skills. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Comfortable using computers; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Ability to learn and use job-specific software and equipment. Capable of operating office equipment including computers, copiers, phones, and two-way radios. Strong problem-solving skills; able to remain calm and professional under pressure. Must be able to bend, kneel, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Able to maintain accuracy and focus despite frequent interruptions. WORK SCHEDULE Day shift – Monday through Friday Seasonal position Must be available to cover additional shifts as needed, including weekdays, weekends and holidays based on business levels. WORKING CONDITIONS May be required to stay overnight during road closures. Exposure to stressful situations involving public interaction, winter conditions, and emergency response. Frequent interruptions and exposure to noise. Regular interaction with coworkers, management, and other departments. Must maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with guests and staff.
