Position Summary We are looking for a curious and creative student developer to research and implement innovative software solutions. This is an opportunity to work closely with the QNX Services Engineering Team in Ottawa, supporting major automotive companies. Length of Term: 8 Months or 4 Months Location: Kanata, Ottawa, ON Salary: Dependent on number of academic terms and co-op placements completed You will: Become familiar with the QNX operating system Experience the C & C++ library API to be tested and learn how the API could be used Write reference applications written in C++ and/or Rust to exercise the QNX components Debug and Analyze issue and work on the solutions Investigate and debug any issues found during the design and implementation of the software components Report any issues to various software development teams at QNX who are industry experts on embedded real-time systems You will: Currently be pursuing post-secondary education in a related field Have familiarity with Linux or other UNIX-like operating systems Programming experience in C and C++ (or Rust) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Eagerness to learn and solve problems Why Join QNX?
