The Night Operations position is responsible for overseeing all Dispatch activity for their assigned shift in the Night Operations department. This position will be primarily focused on our LCV network between AB, SK & MB. The focus of this role is the identification and resolution of all non-routine or time-sensitive issues that arise after regular business hours. The Night Operations staff must display sound judgment and involve other operations staff in the resolution process, as they deem necessary. Must be well organized, an excellent communicator and have a keen sense of timeliness. Responsibilities: This involves the identification and resolution of all non-routine and time-sensitive issues that occur after regular business hours. You must prioritize each situation (emergency, non-routine, routine) and respond accordingly. The response may require immediate action and involvement of other parties. Areas of responsibility include Dispatch, Planning and Customer Service. Management of all after-hours satellite, telephone and in-person communications for multiple city and highway fleets.. Manage all incoming inquiries and provide excellent customer service according to company standards. Reporting and documenting of all after-hours activity for customer service, planning and driver related issues to the appropriate personnel. Qualifications: You must have dispatch experience in order to be considered for this role. Dedicated experience providing customer service in a similar work environment. Well organized, an excellent communicator and have a keen sense of timeliness. Demonstrated attention to detail, communication, problem solving and planning abilities. Ability to multitask and to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent problem solving abilities. This position follows a modified shift schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and alternating Thursdays (every other week). Hours of work are 17:00 - 05:00 MST.
