Prep Academy Tutors is a private in-home tutoring company. We deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs to our students. We specialize in all subject areas and cater to students from age four to twenty. We hire only the best - certified teachers, or those in the process of completing their degree in Education and pay higher wages than the industry average.
We are currently recruiting for a very specific position; that of home school teacher from January to early May 2026. The family is homeschooling for English Language Arts (specifically writing), Math, History for their children in grades 5 and 7 (both are ahead of their grade levels). The students need guidance and enrichment while the family is in Calgary for this timeframe.
Job Summary
Provide academic instruction to students based on expertise and knowledge.
Provide supplemental assignments to students to help promote greater understanding of material.
Provide enrichment support for students as appropriate.
Communicate with parents for overall planning and to discuss student progress.
Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for teachers who can meet the following criteria:
