Regulatory Associate Label Specialist (French bilingual)
The Label Specialist works with regulatory managers to create the label text files for new and existing products; maintain current product label text for all Canadian products to ensure that final labels are correct and meet production timelines; manage quality assurance for Bayer CropScience product label artwork files ensuring compliance with the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) regulatory/legal requirements and Global branding and packaging standards; and distribute PMRA registered label text to third parties and the Bayer Crop Science (BCS) web site.
Bayer is committed to a flexible hybrid working environment. This is a 12-month term position which can be a Development Assignment or a Contract position, based out of Ottawa, Ontario.
What you will do:
Manage label requests and support Regulatory Managers with draft labels for amendments to existing registrations and submission of new registrations, in preparation for review by various stakeholders (biology, marketing, etc.), then finalize edits and prepare label documents for submission.
Manage the label design process, composition and legal elements, of federally approved text on all BCS Canada products.
Provide the Product Supply Graphics teams with updated label and organize Quality Assurance review with external contractors to ensure the product label artwork file matches the regulatory approved text label.
Ensure that label templates are updated as per latest regulatory requirements, Bayer global branding and packaging standards, and Canada Trademark laws.
Manage label databases for all products; maintain current and historical registered label archives (Bridg).
Update the global database with latest Canadian use registrations.
Manage label distribution to internal and external stakeholders either on demand or automatically for label updates on BCS website.
Drive the Regulatory Science Digital label initiative such as reliable electronic document comparison/review and progressing from text-based label documents to electronic documents (XML or HTML).
Who you are:
Fluent in both French and English;
Completed Post Secondary Education in Science and at least 1 year of regulatory or farm experience;
Studies/experiences in either one or multiple of the following fields are preferred: Chemistry, Regulatory Science or Agronomy/Pharma;
Understand the scientific and technical components of registration data packages for biological products is ideal;
Sound understanding of data hygiene best practices;
Excellent organization skills and time management skills;
Demonstrated knowledge of MS tools;
Excellent attention to details with strong collaboration communication skills; and
Skilled at developing training materials and conducting training.
