What you´ll do
Role will be located in Huntsville, ON.
Act as point of contact for various stakeholders on HR topics, providing guidance, counseling, and training to Front line managers and employees, escalating more complex issues to the Sr. HR Manager.
Administer and interpret collective agreements; provide guidance to managers and employees on contract provisions.
Support grievance handling and participate in labour-management meetings.
Assist in preparation for collective bargaining and maintain accurate labour relations documentation.
Directs and participates in employee relations functions such as dispute resolution, discipline, communications, reward practices, etc., ensuring positive morale.
Ensure compliance with provincial employment standards and legislation.
Participate in broader projects in collaboration with NA HR Team.
Coordinates and executes HR activities and tasks to ensure effective day-to-day HR operations.
Ensures onboarding, internal movements and offboarding processes are positive experiences for employees, including training and development initiatives for the sites.
What makes you a good fit
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field; CHRP designation is a plus.
3-5 years’ experience in human resources, preferably as an HR Generalist.
Experience of employee relations, performance management and stakeholder management Experience of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
First class organizational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
Must be willing to travel on as need basis.
