Job Description
Under the authority of the Inventory Manager, the Storekeeper will be responsible for the daily management of the store. They will be responsible for placing materials and equipment in the warehouse, ensuring balanced inventory levels, and communicating this information to the individuals concerned.
What you will be responsible for:
Receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming deliveries of materials and supplies.
Organizing and storing inventory in designated warehouse areas using proper labeling and categorization.
Maintaining accurate inventory records using manual logs and/or warehouse management systems (WMS).
Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment based on sales or distribution schedules.
Monitoring stock levels and notify supervisors of insufficient inventory or potential shortages.
Carrying out regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensuring that cleanliness, order, and safety standards are maintained in the warehouse at all times.
Using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or dollies as needed (training provided if necessary).
Collaborating with procurement, logistics, and customer service teams to coordinate supply chain activities.
Assisting with periodic audits and inventory reporting.
Qualifications
To join our team:
You have experience in a warehouse, inventory, or supply chain environment, preferably.
You have good knowledge of inventory software and basic computer skills.
You have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
You are able to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
You hold a forklift certification (an asset, but not mandatory).
You have good communication and teamwork skills.
