About the Role
Our candidate must have:
Animal Health Technician / Veterinary Technician Diploma
Passed the VTNE or will soon be passing the VTNE
Good standing with their provincial regulatory association
Team oriented mindset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Clinical expertise: patient restraint, lab work, anesthesia monitoring, and treatment administration
Emergency and routine care support, including triage and procedure assistance
Diagnostic and technical skills: radiology, ultrasound, lab diagnostics, surgical prep
Compassionate client communication and education
Strong team collaboration with veterinarians and support staff
Problem-solving, adaptability, and quick decision-making in varied cases
Patient advocacy and focus on welfare, comfort, and safety
