Reporting to the regional
General Manager, the individual in the Sales Representative role is responsible for
acquiring, expanding and/or maintaining the sales of CLEANTEK Industries services and equipment. This role involves increasing company revenue by generating and growing sales from new and existing customers.
The ideal candidate is as comfortable dealing with those customers on the wellsite as they are in the corporate office.
The Sales Representative
is a trusted advisor and identifies new opportunities and/or customers and develops working relationships with them. They will prepare and deliver presentations highlighting the technology and services of CLEANTEK, negotiate terms with clients and successfully close sales. This individual needs to be motivated to exceed company sales targets.
Duties & Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point-of-contact for assigned customers
Identify and develop new opportunities beyond assigned customer base
Mentor and assist other team members with closing sales to qualified leads
Develop and maintain relationships within assigned accounts; improve client utilization and product/service adoption rates
Promote awareness of new products and services to accounts
Analyze, assess, and document client results to ensure customer needs are being met
Investigate and troubleshoot customer needs
Participate in sales presentations that highlight key benefits, ROI, and value of the company’s products/services. Sales events and presentation may occur during the work week, on weekends and/or evenings as required by the client.
Maintain
accurate records including the use of a company CRM system
Collaborate with internal resources to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
Work with management to develop sales goals and manage all aspects of strategic sales initiatives
Promote and maintain the organization’s brand image and identity within the marketplace
Work with internal departments to ensure customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
Comply with standards and procedures of all CLEANTEK policies including the Health & Safety program
Perform other duties as required.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
Excellent teamwork and team building skills, coupled with a consistent approach of honesty and integrity
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Proficient Microsoft Office computers skills required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills, with a high degree of tact and persuasiveness.
Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
Ability to coordinate, organize and present sales demonstrations and other sales related events.
Skilled at assessing client needs, developing proposals, and delivering solutions.
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with decision makers, key business partners, and customers.
Education, Training, and Experience
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years related experience.
Minimum of two years of previous sales experience.
Special Conditions of Employment
Travel required
Additional hours may be required depending on client deadlines.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract – This is a condition of employment and my result in termination for cause if contravened.
