Intern, Business Development (Customer Projects)
This is a full-time summer internship lasting from May 11, 2026, until August 28, 2026.
Job Summary
The Intern, Business Development will support various Business Development managers across the network to ensure the successful delivery of improved customer experience and revenue growth initiatives. More specifically, the intern will assist in the advancement of initiatives designed to bring new customer projects to market, faster. Liaising with all departments across CN and working directly with customers, the intern will gain business and technical experience in on the development of tools, processes, and platforms necessary to improve the customer’s experience, promote CN’s product offering, support revenue growth, promote safety and optimize efficiencies.
Main Responsibilities
Learn current Business Development process flow and perform critical assessment to identify opportunities for enhancement
Refine customer information packages to better align with customer needs
Work with our Corporate Marketing team to establish customer-facing material
Support the development of on siding agreements and the AFE development process
Complete research on key Business Development markets
