Job description
Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to collaborate with the Financial Operations and Financial Systems teams on the upgrade and implementation of their Oracle ERP Cloud system, with a strong focus on the General Ledger (GL) module. This role involves projects related to the GL module within Oracle Fusion.
Key Responsibilities
Drive initiatives focused on the GL module, including:
UK & Ireland transformation
IFRS 9 end-to-end project
FX project
Stabilizing the GL and improving operational processes
Enhance reporting efficiency from the GL module for business needs.
Provide production support (60%) and lead GL enhancement projects (40%).
Day-to-Day Activities
Manage cash receipts and bank statement reconciliations.
Handle AR manual invoicing and GL entries.
Conduct functional testing of Oracle configurations during sprints.
Develop UAT test cases for AR and related modules (AP, Procurement, Cash Management).
Plan and execute tests, validate results, resolve issues with integrators, and report UAT progress.
Required Knowledge
AP & Procurement: Requisitions, POs, receiving, invoices, payments (cheques, EFTs, wires), cheque voiding, stale dating.
AR: Billing, cash receipts, application.
Cash Management: Bank statement and transaction reconciliations, tax reconciliations, month-end accruals.
Must-Have Skills
5+ years as an Oracle Technical Consultant.
Deep experience with Oracle Fusion, especially GL, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, and HCM modules:
Module configuration
Financial reporting
Journal entries
Integration with other modules
Data migration
Experience on large-scale projects within major financial institutions.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Bilingual (French & English)
Experience with transformation projects
Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP regulations
Accounting education, or finance transformation experience
Oracle GL certification
Core Skills: Oracle Cloud, Oracle ERP, Accounting & Finance, Functional Analysis, Business Analysis, ERP Systems, Stakeholder Management.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $90.00/hr.
