Suger is a revenue platform that helps our customers grow on the fastest-growing B2B sales channel: the cloud marketplaces of AWS, Azure, GCP, and Alibaba. Launched in 2022, we take the tech debt out of marketplace sales by providing an API-first approach to quote-to-cash and billing processes. We’re working with over 200 B2B customers, ranging from large enterprises like Snowflake and Intel to fast-growing startups like Glean and Vanta.
This role is ideal for someone who’s strong technically and enjoys being hands-on while also shaping the long-term QA function. You'll design our testing approach, implement automation, improve processes, and ensure smooth, high-quality releases across our platform and integrations.
This is a hybrid position, requiring 4 days in the office.
We are a Series A startup, funded by top-tier investors, including Threshold VC, Craft Ventures, Intel Capital, and Y Combinator.

What You'll Do
Own the QA strategy across manual, automated, regression, and integration testing.
Contribute to hands-on testing and the design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks, infrastructure, and tools.
Develop and execute test plans for new features, APIs, and end-to-end workflows.
Embed QA into development cycles, ensuring clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
Build and maintain test frameworks that scale with our product and engineering growth.
Triage and validate issues in collaboration with Engineering and Support.
Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement in test coverage, defect trends, and release stability.
Mentor teammates and help shape the future QA team as we grow.
What You Need
5+ years of QA experience in SaaS, ideally with API-driven or integration-heavy products.
Strong hands-on skills with manual and automated testing.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern engineering workflows.
Experience testing APIs, microservices, data flows, and end-to-end product use cases.
Ability to write clear test cases, document defects well, and communicate findings concisely.
Practical judgment - balancing speed with quality in a startup environment.
Experience setting up or maturing QA processes is a plus.
Previous exposure to marketplace, billing, or fintech systems is a bonus but not required.
