POSITION Marketing & Design Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing & Design Assistant plays a key role in supporting our creative and marketing initiatives across print, digital, and web. This in-office position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-driven, and eager to grow their design and content skills in a fast-paced environment.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist our in-house Design & Marketing team with:
• Creating and formatting brochures, flyers, stickers, business cards, and product catalogues
• Designing and preparing social media posts and promotional materials
• Formatting design assets using Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Ensuring visual consistency and clean layout across all materials
Document & Digital Formatting:
• Create fillable PDFs
• Format proposals, Word documents, and templates
• Prepare visually strong PowerPoint presentations
• Assist with updating and editing content on our WIX website
Marketing Operations & Ordering Support:
• Place orders for:
• Marketing supplies
• Promotional materials
• Print items (flyers, brochures, labels, etc.)
• Liaise with print shops and suppliers
• Track invoices and receipts
• Pick up local marketing supplies or print orders (personal vehicle required)
Administrative & Project Coordination Support:
• Support the Design & Marketing team with day-to-day coordination tasks
• Help organize digital files, project folders, and creative assets
• Assist with trade show preparation and materials
• Perform other duties and creative projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical & Creative Skills
• Basic proficiency in WIX
• Proficient in Adobe softwares such as Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e Power Point, Word and Excel)
• Strong understanding of visual layout, typography, and branding principles
Professional Skills
• High attention to detail and strong sense of organization
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced creative environment
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Valid driver’s license (G or G2) and access to a vehicle
EDUCATION
Diploma or coursework in Graphic Design, Marketing, Digital Media, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office environment with extended periods working on a computer
Frequent use of design software and creative applications
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a design-focused team
Must be able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
